Music for a better quality of life

Music is an important part of life. It exhilarates, awakens memories, touches and speaks to everyone in its diversity. However, music can do much more. It influences our mind and can even heal us. Especially in the therapy of dementia patients, people with tinnitus, depression, burnout syndromes, and pain patients or patients in neurorehabilitation, music has scientifically proven great success.

Music therefore has a special place in the Zitha seniories (senior centres). For example, in the Seniorie in Consdorf artists give monthly small concerts and musical activities are offered weekly. This enhances the quality of life and the well-being of all residents and they appreciate it very much.

In order to increase the quality of the musical activities, the Seniorie St Joseph in Consdorf now owns the appropriate musical equipment, which was purchased by the Foundation Ste Zithe for 3.378,00 euros. Musicians and artists can use it to make sure that everyone in the room hears the music equally well. At the same time, this compact sound system allows musical offerings at various locations in the house or even on the terrace.

We sincerely thank all the donors who have contributed to this project, thus enabling our residents to enjoy the gift of music.
