Dementia patients are often quite fit physically. Many feel the need to move freely, to walk in the fresh air or to enter and leave a room when they feel like it. To cater to this need and at the same time guarantee security, the Seniorie Saint Jean de la Croix Luxembourg is currently planning a large recreation room with an adjoining garden, allowing residents to move freely, decide for themselves whether they want to be outside or inside, how they take their meals and whether they take part in the activities on offer.
The Fondation Ste Zithe is pleased to contribute €16,650.65 in donations received for the Seniorie Saint Jean de la Croix Luxembourg to make this area comfortable and attractive.
